Smiling Acres Music Festival is situated on 40 acres of open land and wooded spaces in Trufant, Michigan. Please plan on arriving sometime after 8:00am Friday morning and work on getting your camp site set up. Spend the mid-day hours checking out our vendors, exploring the grounds, hiking on our trails, or just relaxing. There are five publicly accessible lakes conveniently located within five miles if you decide to bring a kayak. There are also 3,000 acres of state land close by if you really want to go exploring. The stage opens at 9:30AM Friday and runs until Midnight with some great entertainment for your enjoyment. Saturday and Sunday morning you can start by joining the group for Acoustic Yoga at 8:00am. Open mic starts at 9:00AM followed by another amazing lineup of talented artists throughout the rest of each day. A spectacular fireworks show will start right after the Saturday night headliner, leading up to our closing act Sunday afternoon.
Parking will be in the lot towards the west end of the event area. When you arrive, you will see signs pointing this out.
The box office is online only. We recommend getting your tickets online in advance before they run out.
We will only be offering refunds in the unfortunate circumstances of the event needing to be cancelled for reasons beyond our control. Beyond that all ticket sales are final and non-transferrable.
Pets bring too many variables to the equation. While there may be a few witnessed roaming around, they live here year round and would appreciate it if you left the furry friends at home. See FAQ & Rules for more details regarding pets.
